ABOUT ERIC
“When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.” – Leonardo da Vinci

Transportation fascinates me.  From modeling train routes in HO scale in my grandparents’ basement to identifying types of aircraft flying thousands of miles overhead, my childhood revolved around a sincere interest in the movement of people and goods from point A to point B.  That passion continues today, aided by my professional career in the airline industry, my undergraduate and graduate education in transportation engineering (B.S.) and engineering management (M.S), and as a traffic engineer (E.I.T.).

I specialize in optimizing processes and improving overall efficiency and would like to utilize these skills in a business strategy or network logistics role:  planning new airline routes based on geographic economic factors and profitability forecasts; monitoring airline PRASM, load factor, and on-time performance; assessing aircraft fleet efficiency; influencing strategic business investments in airport terminal expansions; and reducing shipping distribution time for long-haul and short-haul freight movements.
